Pothole plaint: Rs 500 to be paid by BMC officials

Civic engineers will finally be held accountable for their ‘shoddy’ work on the streets of Mumbai. The Rs 500 award announced by the BMC for a citizen who reports a pothole, will come out of the pocket of that area’s civic executive engineer from the department of roads.
