‘Every 100gm of fish has 80 microplastic particles’

People are consuming as many as 80 particles of microplastic — widely suspected to be cancer-causing — when they eat 100g of fish caught off the coast of Mumbai, found a study by the Central Institute of Fisheries Education (CIFE) in 2018-19.
