HC dismisses bakery’s plea in trademark battle

Bombay high court this week dismissed a plea by Mumbai’s iconic bakery — Merwans Confectioners — for interim orders to restrain a former franchise from using its trademark. Merwans had launched an intellectual property rights battle.
