Mumbai local: Confusion over ‘essential staff’

Eighty-four days after Covid-19 halted the city's lifeline on its tracks, local trains began running again from Monday and ferried about 60,000 essential services workers of the state government and private health institutions. Usually 80 lakh people use the trains daily.
