When the Covid-19 lockdown was first announced in March, yeast ran out of stock in supermarkets and social media was flooded with beautifully plated chicken tandoori and banana bread, as everyone unleashed their inner ‘Masterchef ’. While the trend did not keep up with the multiple extensions to the lockdown, several Mumbaikars turned it into business to compliment income in in a time when jobs were being lost, or to fulfil a lifelong dream.
