The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI), Mumbai seized a consignment of foreign cigarettes at the Nhava Sheva port that was being smuggled into the country from Dubai on Saturday. The cigarettes were concealed inside aluminium waste and scrap of vehicle engine parts and are worth Rs 14 crore. The consignment was seized under the provisions of the Customs Act, 1962. No one has been arrested in the case yet.
